Parks Canada Cave and Basin

Shot across Canada using 2 RED Epic cameras rigged together (for 10K resolution), the final video spanned 4 screens - each screen was 4.8m wide X 2.7m high - the total span is 21 meters or 70 feet. The architecture of the hall—a long narrow space with high ceilings and arched pillars that divide the wall into four usable projection surfaces—presented creative challenges and opportunities. The video took the viewer from the beginning of the Cave and Basin formation to present day Parks using original shot footage, animation and archival video and stills. This is the single screen version.
